تغليف البيانات   Data Encapsulation

- التفاعل الرئيسي بين البروتوكولات المشتغلة في مختلف طبقات الطراز OSI يتجلى في:

قيام كل بروتوكول باضافة رأس ( وفي حالة واحدة تذيل ) الى المعلومات التي يتلقاها من الطبقة فوقه وهذا هو تغليف البيانات.

- The primary interaction between the protocols operating at the various layers of the OSI model takes the form of:

each protocol adding a header (and in one case, a footer) to the information it receives from the layer above it. This called data encapsulation.

- مثال:

في شبكة LAN نموذجية ، عندما يولد برنامج طلب للحصول على مورد شبكة يقوم برتوكول في طبقة البرامج بتحزيم الطلب كوحدة بيانات بروتوكول (PUD) اختصار لـ (Protocol Data Unit) ويرسله نزولاً في مكدس البروتوكولات.

- example:

 on a typical LAN, when an application generates a request for a network resource, an application layer protocol packages the request as a protocol data unit (PDU) and sends it on its way down through the protocol stack.

- عندما تصل الوحدة (PDU) الى طبقة الارسال:

ينشئ بروتوكول طبقة الارسال وحدة (PDU) خاصة به باضافة رأس الى الطلب، ويتألف هذا الرأس من حقول تحتوي على معلومات تطبق وظائف ذلك البروتوكول، ويصبح طلب طبقة البرامج الاصلي هو حقل البيانات او الحمولة في الوحدة PDU الخاصة بطبقة الارسال.

- When the PDU reaches the transport layer:

 a transport layer protocol creates its own PDU by adding a header to the request. This header consists of fields containing information implementing that protocol’s functions, and the original application layer request becomes the data field, or payload, for the transport layer PDU.

- بروتوكول طبقة الارسال بعد ان يضيف رأسه يمرر الوحدة PDU نزولاً الى :

طبقة الشبكة، عندها يضيف بروتوكول طبقة الشبكة رأسه امام رأس طبقة الارسال مما يشكل الوحدة PDU الخاصة بطبقة الشبكة لذا تصبح الوحدة PDU الخاصة بطبقة الارسال والتي تتألف من طلب طبقة البرامج الاصلي ورأس بروتوكول طبقة الارسال هي الحمولة في الوحدة PDU الخاصة بطبقة الشبكة.

- The transport layer protocol, after adding its header, passes the new PDU down to:

the network layer. The network layer protocol then adds its own header in front of the transport layer protocol’s header, forming a network layer PDU. Thus, the transport layer PDU, consisting of the original application layer request and the transport layer protocol header, becomes the payload in the network layer PDU.

- بنفس الطريقة تسير الوحدة PDU الخاصة بطبقة الشبكة الى:

طبقة وصلة البيانات حيث تصبح الحمولة  في الوحدة PDU الخاصة بطبقة وصلة البيانات لكن البروتوكول في طبقو وصلة البيانات هذه المره يضيف رأساص وتذيلاً

- In the same way, the network layer PDU is passed down to the:

 data-link layer, where it becomes the payload of the data-link layer PDU. However, this time the protocol at the data-link layer adds both a header and a footer.

- The final product, or packet:

 is ready for conversion to signals appropriate to the medium and transmission over the network.

- بعدما تصل الرزمة الى وجهتها:

تكرر العملية بأكملها في الاتجاه المعاكس، البروتوكول في كل طبقة متتالية في المكدس (صعوداً هذه المره) يعالج ويزيل الرأس الذي طبقه بروتوكوله المرادف في النظام المرسل عندما تنتهي هذه الهملية يصل الطلب الاصلي الى البرنامج الذي كان متوجها اليه في نفس الحالة التي كان عليها عندما تم توليده.

- After the packet reaches its destination:

 the entire process is repeated in reverse. The protocol at each successive layer of the stack (traveling upward this time) processes and removes the header applied by its equivalent protocol in the transmitting system. When the process is complete, the original request arrives at the application for which it was destined in the same condition as when it was generated.

- تغليف البيانات:

العمليه التي يضيف بها كل بروتوكول معلوماته الى الوحدة التي يتلقاها من الطبقة فوقه في الطراز OSI .

- data encapsulation:

The process by which protocols add their own information to that received from the layers above them in the OSI model.

- هذه العملية مشابه وظائفيا لعملية :

تحضير رساله بريدية للارسال . طلب البرنامج هو الرساله نفسها، و رؤوس البروتوكولات تمثل عملية وضع الرسالة في مغلف، عنونته وضع الطابع عليه وارساله.

- This process is functionally similar to the process of :

preparing a postal letter for mailing. The application request is the letter itself, and the protocol headers represent the process of putting the letter into an envelope, addressing it, stamping it, and mailing it.
